Alright I hate to open up a blog entry with a gripe...pretty soon my style will emulate some other people's blogs. In any case, I was suppose to sit for 2 classes today. Skipped one in favour of spending time on project management and to catch of glimpse of Kat before she went for her class. Though it was unexpected that she reached uni late. She's been under the weather since Sunday, a case of cough and cold on Monday and a mild fever later in the day. Thankfully she is fine now after much medication.
The one day Sea World mini-attraction at Monash today featured the ever prominent Dugon, a creature capable of spitting out economic facts on how business is conducted in Asia. However, despite its amazing ability to read out points found in Powerpoint slides, it is has no ability in giving exam tips. In order to protect itself from predators, it reads the aforementioned slides in a very deep dronning tones. This natural protection mechanism puts most predators (and students too) to sleep, thereby allowing it to escape to its lair, on the 3rd floor of the Monash building.
That concludes today's documentary on the Dugong. Tune in again next sem for more exciting stories. Next up Jim Niwer, 'Dugong Hunter'. Watch as Jim explores the wild outback of Sunway Lagoon searching for the legendary Dugong.
"Bloody Hell, this one's a whooper!!", Jim Niwer.
