Its Friday, the last lecture of the week is here. It wouldn't be so dreadful if it wasn't for Thomas O'Daniel's class. Sigh. In the same fashion Project Management was conducted last sem, he pretty much pulls it off again. I think the class enthusiasm has dropped a notch and its highly likely that this trend will continue.
That concludes today's class on "trying-to-sound-intelligent-when-you-are-actually-not". Attended the career talk after class. Thought it was going to be good, but it was actually quite a bore. It was as if it was not enough that I had to go through a boring lecture and I deserved to be bored some more.
Had a simple roti canai lunch with Kat, after nearly dying of hunger (thought that career talk would never end). Hung around uni for a while cause Kat had to close the MBC (Monash Business Club) accounts for the day. Oh! Shocking discovery at the computer labs. The comps actually HAVE Firefox!! I never thought that the IT ppl would install Firefox. I thought I would have to suffer with that God forsaken browser (IE) for all my uni life!! Nicely surprised that I can browse as I do at home.
Went to One U later. Kat needed a new pair of glasses. Will have to stop by there on Monday to collect it. Pretty fast service for a fresh pair. I remember having to wait at least a few weeks, not 2 days!! Didn't watch any movie though, so just walked around the joint.
F1 fever is up and about. Honda and Ferrari have set up their booths in the new section. Honda's is significantly bigger, covering the entire Oval. For those of us who are interested in getting a tan from the 17-19 of March, one could win Grandstand tickets if they clock the fatest time on a simulated F1 game offered by both racing teams (okay you won't be sitting under the sun, since the tickets are worth RM1500).
