F1 Fever

Attended a talk on resume writing today presented by Price Waterhouse Coopers. Was an interesthing talk on the dos and don'ts of resume writing. Several sample resumes were shown, most were unprofessional and simply lacked common sense (I hope I don't fall under this category when I DO start writing mine).

The Resume Writing Talk

Later went to One U, saw this F1 game show going on. Noticed that at least 3 of the contestants were from Monash U Engineering (the same bunch of dodos who campaigned for the 'Semi-Gifted' student party last year). Anyways, the fools were together with 4 other contestants in a bid to win a RM1000 Tower seat (I'm guessing its one of those air conditioned rooms that over look the race track) @ the F1 race. The game went like this:

Each contestant is to put on a racing jumpsuit and helmet in the fastest time possible. Upon wearing the jumpsuit, he is to run one round to the ground floor and back down to the stage on the basement level. The person with the fastest time wins.

Needless to say, the 'Semi-gifted' group wasn't gifted enough to win the ticket. The closest guy was just 2 secs behind the guy who got the ticket. Heh, tough luck.

On your marks...Get set.....GO!
