In a Malaysian minute

This is gonna be a picture post. I basically have compiled together pics I took over the course of the week. Was going to type out more, but my browser crashed last night, taking most of my entry along with it.

In any case, I'll insert some text here and there to make things less...sloppy. Monday was at the Curve to try out the new Cineplex. Place is basically empty as a tomb. Heard in the papers that the place is suppose to be a real hip place for the "youth" of today to hang out. There's gonna be a giant screen that displays games that are being played by ppl around the mall. Sounds like a cool concept, but only time will tell if it will be successful.

Cineleisure

Apparently you would be able to play games on this platform one day when the mall is fully operational.

Some boys playing in the fountain. The mother is clearly encouraging them.

This next section is going to be all about the many animals I took pics of during my time at the Curve. Most of which are sound asleep. Don't worry I didn't knock on the glass or anything to get a reaction from them.

This lil' pup is snoring peacefully away.

A Siberian Husky that is interested in a lil baby.

You heard of over turned lorries but, it happens to turtles too.

A tiny fisherman in a tank.

Common tell me a joke.

Tender loving hug

Ack! I can see your bones!!

These Malaysians are setting a fine example of our "barbaric" motoring etiquette to the general public. Shame on you idiots. Can't even read the sign above your own heads. Where did all the money for education go to?

Nice shot of some tables and chairs

Had dinner at Charms after watching the Assasination of Richard Nixon on Monday. Pretty nice decent food set in a cosy atsmosphere.

Took a trip down to KL today to watch a movie at Kat's place. Got a lift from dad who kindly dropped me off at Masjid Jamek. Boarded a train heading to Ampang. Rained during the journey there and it was still pouring when I reached Cempaka.

Bangunan KTM

Waiting at the platform. Watch your step buddy.

Mixture of old and new. Below this building marked 1921, is a Burger King outlet.

Waiting for the train.

The casualty of over building. Looking over Puduraya is the failed project of Plaza Rakyat. In the late 1990s, this place was to be THE central railway station or something I think. Also was suppose to eliviate the problem of congestion in Puduraya. Almost a decade later, nothing has changed. The jams are still there, made worse by the floods and this big waste of concrete is a testament to poor government planning.

Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind at Kat's. Loved the show, some of the best acting I've seen and its got a good plot line to it too.

Had lunch over at Great Eastern Plaza at this place. Cozy House.

Me, Kat and my Iceblended Mango Drink

Some really cute puppy I saw

Curious lil' bird who wanted to give the two love birds in the background some room.
