Lets see, recounting my horrific exam week. I had two papers back to back, none of which were fun to study. Extremely stressful, but i managed to get through both of them in the end. Funny thing is that one paper, Applied Micro and Macro came out almost exactly the same as one of the past year papers that i did before. Its open season on exam papers that time.
The night before Tuesday was hellish, I was tired from sitting in the exam hall for 3 hours. Yet I had to get some last minute revision (for whatever it was worth) done. Woke the next morning at 5.30am and started studying. 8.30am, sat in the exam hall still blur. When the "ol man" (cheif invigilator who comes in year after year) said the magic words "You may now leave the hall.....quitely!!" I was so relieved. Came out feeling rather rejuvinated and thankful that I don't have to do that again.
Can't recall much for the rest of the week. Nothing more than going to uni to study or studying at home. In between catching up with some gaming and writing a review. Come Saturday, I found myself back in uni. First thing that caught my eye as i parked my car was the damn freaking Ferrari parked right outside Medan. I mean, what an unexpected place to find a sports car like that...
Later had lunch by myself (yes, it is sad but there isn't anyone around uni on Saturdays). Decided to go off shooting pics around uni. My focus of attention this time was the Monorail station. For so long I always wondered what it looked like. When I first came in to Monash, I thought it would be cool to sit on the monorail and go back and forth to Pyramid as I pleased. Unfortunately, 3 and half years later, I still find that the train has not arrived at the station....even once.
Yeah, the place is a dump. Obviously abandoned. Took pictures of the place, all dusty and leaky. There was even this guy sleeping at the station (sounded like a crazy fellow, or possibly a drunk guard). Heck, I just shot and go. The place isn't much to look at top side, aside from waiting till doomsday for a train that never comes, the only other thing you will find there is the newly converted sceince labs below the station platform. Apparently they thought of utilizing the space last year and built some labs there.
I've been waiting here for 3 years....and my train still isn't here.... (There was this guy sleeping near the end of the tracks, thought best not to bother him)
My relatives from Singapore and JB came up for the weekend. Uncle and aunt brought grandpa up too. My lil' cousin Amanda had a fun time playing around with Jinn Lik. JW commented that it was odd hearing a lil' girl screaming around the house fo a change.
Yes, Jw lost weight during NS but I think my uncle is probably breaking under the pressure of his weight in this pic.
